Welcome to my blog

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog. I am not much of a blogger so I am learning a new thing. I am not sure if I will continue to do this once December gets here. It just depends on if I get the hang of it or not.

You are all welcome to read my blog at anytime.

Thanks for reading

Today has been a busy day already! I am working in the office by myself and as we all know finals are approaching. I have to focus on my work and also be a proctor for the students that are coming to take tests. Life is not a bed of roses when you are trying to please everyone.

Today has been a day from hell! I have been extremely busy. The end of the semester has always been one of the busiest times of the year. Especially, when you are doing the job of two people.

Have a great day!

Blogging is one of those things that we "old" people have to get used to. It takes time when you have never done it before although it seems like it is fun if you have something to talk about. Which most of the time I don't. But I am working on it and maybe my kids can teach me how to do it.

Remember the grass is not always greener on the other side of the pasture. It may look that way but when you get over there it just may be spoiled.

An instructor had this quote on his email.
The Presidency tends, year by year, to fo to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adourned by a downright moron.

H.L. Mencken, 1920.

Sometimes things can get very discouraging. The closer I get to obtaining my degree the more classes I have to take to get it. There are classes I have taken already that they are trying to make me take again. Trying to get a degree is so frustrating. But I will keep holding on a obtain the goal that I set out to obtain.

A Christmas Prayer

Loving Father,
Help us remember the birth of Jesus
that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepards, and worship of the wise men.

CLose the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children, and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake.
